I was thinking the other day what if my motors T had a traditional bezel on those beautiful brushed lugs.

Would this be wierd looking or unique. I thought to myself, the next time i'm at the AD i would ask if its possible and how much $$$.

But since i have access to the best place for brietling, i thought i would ask here first

Please chime in and let me know what you think. JEWELED bezel or TRADITIONAL on my motors T, and price if you know or have ever changed a bezel before.

I can save you a little time and tell you that as far as Breitling is concerned, its a no way Jose. And not just because of the money, because they pride themselves on Brand image and altering one of thier top end watches is not gonna be in thier best interest.

I find that hard to beleive, because i read posts on here where guys actually got their bracelet polished or brushed from Beitling when they sent it in to get serviced or warranty work done. It's not really like altering the watch because the motors and the T are the same only the brushed (which i love)and bezel differ. No matter, i still love the jewed look, i was just wondering what the thoughts would be

To be honest I think putting a Motors bezel on a T would just make the T look like a Motors! The brushed parts of the T are quite subtle, so the most noticeable difference between the models is the bezel.

I'm also going to back Bronco with regards to Breitling's stance on making the modification - highly unlikely. The other option you may have is to see if a Repair-Approved AD (not a regular "seller AD" as they cannot order parts) will order the part for you. Funnily enough I enquired about a T bezel a few months back (I was thinking of putting a T bezel on my 6.75 but decided against it as I like the factory look) and I was quoted about £125 if I remember rightly. You'd just need to get an ordinary jeweler (i.e. not a Breitling AD as they will refuse to do it) to swap it out for you. You could try it yourself, but with the pinion gearing, it's a little more complex than something like an SA bezel.

It will look like the motors but with the bracelet (which i intend on getting)has the TT brushed and polished and i think it looks awesome and easier to manage. If breitling won't do it, i probably won't do it....warranty issues and all. We do have alot of AD's in the Toronto area as well as a repair centre so i'll look in to it.

OK with the bracelet as well, it will look quite different.
