New to the website but long time Breitling fan. Just sent my Colt II for a complete service, authorized service center in Florida.. The Crystal also needed to be replaced because the AR coating peeled off, partial. Getting new hands too. Excited to get it back. Turn around estimate at 2 weeks. Will post pics once i receive it.

estimate for the service is as follows:
overhaul- $490
New Crystal- $120
Hands-$68

Hopefully once it goes under the microscope no surprises pop up.

WoW!
I'm glad I'm here, not there.
Had a few Breitling Chronos overhauled for $350 a piece in the last 2-3 years. No extra charge for hands or any parts.
On two occasions I paid a bit more , about $200) to cover the additional cost of a new crystal or a new dial.

Ya I'm 99% sure a handset should have been included. And your overhaul cost looks high too

do agree that i over paid, that's might gut feeling too, but I should have it back in 2 weeks and on my wrist. After that I will have 4-6 years to find a more reasonable charge for the next service. It's my first time around the block and it probably cost me $200-250 for the experience. Hopefully being part of this great forum I will be able to reduce my learning curve on the Breitling watch.
