Hey People!
It all started on a lovely vacation to Aruba. We stumbled into Little Switzerland (Breitling AD throughout the Caribbean) and my eyes immediately went to a beautiful Blue Dial Galactic 41 fitted with a Blue Calf Leather Strap. Nowhere near emotionally ready to spend $xxxx USD (translating to $xxxx Canadian!) on a watch, I walked out saying to my lovely "One day".
I couldn't get my mind off of this watch for the rest of the vacation... Then with one day left in Aruba we found another Little Switzerland in another part of town. Low and behold they had the same watch! Fate!? Gearing up to purchase, but it was rather.. well.. seemingly passed around to many past potential buyers. Scratched and scuffed. A very good excuse for my emotionally unreadiness to spend $xxxx Canadian! on a watch.
Flying home, dying for wifi to research this stunning timepiece. It's a "timepiece" now by the way, eases the emotional unreadiness as discussed above
... Not one day passes, we call around to see who has this timepiece. No one in the province with this configuration. Day 3, we walk into the Breitling Boutique in Toronto to try on a few other options and nothing was the same to me. Deposit left and now... A brand new factory fresh (fingers crossed) Galactic 41 with a Metallica Blue Dial and Blue Calf Leather strap is on its way from Breilting Swizterland! I'm jumping out of my seat in excitement. I'll post some eye candy when she arrives.
