Hi,

I've bought a Steelfish with the following description:

NO dings , dents , chips , rounded corners or blemishes a couple clasp shirt swirlies / rubs is all . Bracelet has no stretch to speak of.

There were some pictures that showed 1-2 scratches but pls see below - the bezel seems quite heavily scratched to me. Unless I'm being picky?

Also, I agreed a price inc. insured shipping. I wired the money from the UK to the USA. After it was received by the seller I was informed that the seller had issues with the shipping cost. I was told it would be $260 to ship using UPS (Expedited) - of which I was expected to pay $140 on top of the original agreement (which already covered $100) OR I was offered a refund but that was based on the funds received by the seller in USD (which meant that I would have lost out in transaction fees + currency conversion, about $100-$150).

It seems to me that the seller should not have agreed the price before confirming his own costs, should have at least contributed towards the additional cost or provided me with a full refund which meant I wouldn't lose out. Does that sound unreasonable?

I agree that the description that was apparently given does not match the watch. With all that being said, it sounds like it would cost a lot to send the watch back for a refund. If you grabbed that for an awesome price, then you could feel good that a refurbishing down the road will make that look great again.

I would keep it and just get it refinished when you get a chance, probably once you have worn it enough so that "new watch feeling" wears off, should take 3-4 weeks and will look brand new, it's a great piece and my favorite dial color on this model.

It's real, no doubt.
