Fashion question. Looking at a SS Navi w/a black face. I like the way they look, but I don't wear much black.

Should a watch strap be like a belt (ie. color match to shoes)? I don't wear black shoes often.

So, wondering about a black Navi on a brown strap. What do you think? SS bracelet's out of the question. Maybe a darker brown. Hirsch George strap?

Any pics of this combo?

Or, go with black strap even though I wear more brown?

Just wondering what you think.

Personally I am not a fan of black dial watches with brown bands, but there are many people on here that do like that combo. If you like it, that's all that matters.

I know what you mean-it takes some getting used to the look of brown if your Navi is on a black strap. But brown can look very good as well. Panerai's are often black or gray and go well with brown straps so the color combination works. I do try to match the strap, belt and shoes when I dress. Although with long sleeve weather it is a lot harder to notice.
