Hi

My Cockpit B50 is almost 1 year old but as of 3 months ago, when I plugged it in for charging it would read '100% charged'. When unplugging the true battery charge would appear.

Now it's in deep sleep. Anyone had this problem?

Many thanks, Jack.

Very common issue with early ones, use the search and you'll find many threads. It will need to go to Breitling.

Hey Roff, does the B50 not have issues if you get a new one? Or is it still hit and miss?

Newer ones seem to have resolved the early charging issue, whether there are other problems that haven't yet revealed themselves is unknown. Like any other technology, early adopters take the most risks.

Send it back while you are still under warranty. Looks like you may need a firmware update. When did you purchase the watch? Do you know its manufacturing date?

Inquiry about the manufacturing date upon purchase. Insist on a piece manufactured towards the tail end of 2015 and onwards.

I had exactly this problem with my B50, couldn't charge it, it then went into deep sleep mode and was unusable. However this happened within a week of purchase, and was returned to my AD who promptly sourced a brand new one, with the later software.

Yours has developed a fault, so Breitling will want to repair.

Had mine a year now and no further issues. It's become my daily wearer. Love it.
