Breitling says emergency Airwolf and Aerospace only so please respond as to the "best" overall. The comments to date help. Thank you.

Thanks for telling me I was not clear.

Please see my original post under

help me satisfy the masses on Breitling Ltd Ed Dial & ..

I am trying to see what real pilots prefer. The airwolf or aerospace as I was going to do a group buy for a graduating class. Thus the question which watch satisfies the needs of the many over the needs of the few better.

Thank you again for responding.

First off, I'm not a pilot (so feel free to completely disregard my input here! ) BUT from being a big Breitling fan and reading a huge amount of reviews, the general concensus I've come across is that the Airwolf (since taking over from the B-1) is the "most complete aviation wrist instrument" around. It certainly has more functions than the Aerospace. However, and again not being a pilot, I can't comment on how usable or necessary all the functions are in a flight situation. Additionally the Airwolf is not as light, as slimline, or as cheap as the Aerospace....

If it was down to aesthetics alone, I'd go with the Airwolf as I personally don't really like titanium, and I prefer the more chunky, "busy" looking watches.

I have a Ltd Ed Breitling Aerospace, and I would recommend one! They are very light, and without a doubt the most comfortable watch I have worn.

It has plenty of functions, which are easy to operate via the crown, so a very good tool if you are a pilot, or need the functions of a pilots watch.

The ltd ed dial printing really seems to give the Aerospace a different look to the standard one, the graphic applied to the dial seems to suit the Aerospace.
