It's been around for a while - in fact I posted about it in the vintage forum a couple of months back.

It's completely right, the only thing wrong is the price. It's a shame because if he had a reasonable valuation on it I would buy it as a nice addition to the collection.

Yes, I find it one of the most spectacular models ever. I just thought it looked too nice and perfect to be vintage and that the "Duograph" lettering looks so modern :oops: They should make a "tribute" modern edition in 43 mm or more.

It's been heavily restored without a doubt, and for some people it's likely too restored, but it's a spectacular piece, just not worth that money.

Incidentally, this piece is 100% from the German Breitling Museum guy, regardless of who is purportedly selling it.
