Hi
I am researching my first Breitling and have a question around Rubber Straps. I want to buy a yellow faced Breitling with a rubber strap, but also want to have a metal one - is this possible?
I want to be able to change the straps over, so wear a steel one one day and a rubber one the next - is this an easy thing to do? Is it possible or does the straps have to be chnaged by a jeweler?
Thanks

It's no problem at all.
There are two Breitling rubber straps - the Diver Pro which is a plain rubber strap with Breitling written on it and a regular tang buckle, and the Ocean Racer which has holes in it and a deployant buckle.
As long as you get the right size between the lugs it will fit any watch, and as long as you have the right tool changing out the strap and bracelet is easy. Bergeon is the preferred manufacturer and there is either the 6825 which compresses the spring bar at both ends at the same time or the 6767F which does one at a time.
You will need different springbars for the strap and the bracelet, the AD can set you up with those.
