another tidbit in from my friends at Ace Jewellers, the long awaited "Connected" now has a shipping date (starting January 2016), a very decent design (yes, that ugly blue logo seems gone) and a new name, it's the Exospace B55.

Reasonably sized at a diameter of 46mm, about 15mm high.

well done, Breitling; there's hope !

If it wasn't "connected", didn't have the DLC, and had a bracelet, it would be an awesome B-1 descendant.

Agreed 100%. Good looking watch though.

The concept of control from the app is nice in a way but absolute nonsense. Time swap can be done even without Bluetooth. This additional Bluetooth complication on the quartz movement is not everyone's cup of tea. Especially with the initial run and it's issues, if any!

All said and done, the visual design looks nice but unfortunately it is disappointing because it looks exactly like a B50 with an aerospace evo bezel! And for 8100€, they need to come up with something different in times to come...

It indeed looks a lot better without the blue logo.

What I like about this watch is how they turned the idea of a smartwatch around. Where a regular smartwatch takes over some phone features, now the phone takes over some watch features. It's a different approach to the same idea.

In that case I indeed would have considered it instead of a B50. However, it's a bit late for that now since my B50 is waiting at WIm's shop for me to pick it up 8)

Looks like they've figured out how to keep the number "10" intact!

Hello,
Some news about the software in order to be able to transfer the data from the smartphone (WP, IPhone or Androïd?) to the "connected Watch"?

I'm a fan. Love the look too. The blue strap and DLC coating really set it off imo. Pretty interested to play with the tech as well. I don't need another watch with stainless bracelet, so this suits me to a tee. Plus it being 46mm has me on board. I don't own anything like that colour/style wise and would love to make it part my small family. But after I snag a navi world :lingsrock:
