Hi all!!

Just bought a pre owned Superocean Chronograph II on pro diver and i am lovin it.
Just 6 months young but i have a question about the date.

Noticing that the date doesnt spring to the next number at 0:00 but much later around 01:30, is that normal or should it flip over around midnight?

I can see it moving slowly to the next number around midnight but when it is at the right date its allready 01:30

Youre opinions please.

Just a hand setting issue, nothing to worry about and will be addressed during service.

The watch is just 6 months old.

It's normal if the hands are set incorrectly. If you want it to be addressed your choices are either 1) give up the watch for however many weeks it will tkae for the service centre to get to it or 2) have an AD reset the hands which will require reusing hands that are designed to be single use.

I always let my 7750-driven watches re-adjusted so as the date (and day) wheels should finish jumping at 02:00. It disturbs me when I am (seldom) awake around midnight if the calendar discs are "in move" after cca. 23:00, so before midnight. (Technically time before going to bed belongs to the previous day for me, even if it is after midnight.) So my calendar discs begin to move at around 01:15 and complete shifting around 02:00. I'm extremely happy with this and it works fine for me in the last - say - 20 years, since I have watches with 7750 calibers. Other advantage is that calendar setting is thus allowed till 22:00 instead of 20:00. Of course watches with instant date change (like my Chronomat 41) are kept as is, so change at midnight. So I think you should be happy with this "failure" I think. Of course just my two cents. Hope this helps.

I just wondered if it was a normal thing... Didn't knew what the standard time is for the date to jump over by Breitling.
