HI , this is my first post , just became owner of my first Breitling after years of Tag Heuering It's a Superocean Heritage 46 with a bronze dial. Just lovely!
And this awakes already my first question about the brand: while deciding on the color I noted a vast variety of available options. I also noted that currently the Breitling webpage only sports black, blue and white with different colored bezels: gold, black, blue and green but I have seen that the watch has been made in at least few other colors like my bronze/brown, green, silver and the bezels I have seen were also red, orange. I assume the colors are “season fresh” and some colors no longer are in production. So here is the question: would you know which years which color combinations were available? For instance when was the brown/bronze that I have, been removed from the offering?
One other question: the backcase says “edition special” but I have seen the same text on all Superocean Heritage that I've looked at. What does really the Special Edition means for Breitling?
