Yesterday I put my minty new-to-me Chronospace on a Strapcode Bandoleer bracelet. 229 grams of fun (almost entirely in the bracelet, it's not a heavy watch). The silvery-white sliderule pops in a classy way, and the concentrically smaller black dial does a good bit to moderate the size of the watch for a casual glance. The large high-contrast features of the dial and fat metal "surrounds" around lume do very well at diminishing the prominence of cutouts for the LCD windows (though they still jump out under the direct lighting necessary for a photo). Quick legibility in low light is as good as it gets. The alarm holes on the case-back are side-facing, as on the X-33, which is functionally far superior than the super-neato turbine caseback of the B-1 and Airwolf. It's easy enough to use the sliderule for timing...just point the red 60 at the time you want to mark. Wouldn't do for diving (neither would 50m of water resistance) but for everyday use it's just fine. The large size actually makes it *more* comfortable than smaller watches, because you can wear it loose and it doesn't roll around. It sits on the wrist because it fits on the wrist. I like how the bracelet links echo the edge of the bezel, and the ratcheting clasp is such a no-brainer, it should be more common. Maybe I'll update the thread with a few daytime photos down the road. Other than the fact that it's not a B-1, let me know what you really think. Cheers. ![]() Attachment: 1a.jpg Attachment: 1b.jpg Attachment: 2.jpg Attachment: 3.jpg Attachment: 3a.jpg

Very nice. The chronospace has its own unique look even with the big 3 & 9! This watch grows on people only after seeing it in flesh. First time I saw it, it got me glued to its humongous dial and the busy design. Enjoy ![]() |

Yeah...I thought it was a little nutty until I recently saw a blacksteel one at a store. I didn't want the blacksteel, but I knew then that I wanted this one. It's also very low-profile, and because of that I think it actually wears smaller than a whole lot of 45-46 mm watches. I have a 7+smidge wrist and it wraps around it real nice, IMO. Others may disagree. ![]() |

No. I've had an exact experience with both my Chronospaces, tungsten grey and the jet team watch. They wear much slimmer than other 46-48mm breitlings. Enjoy.. pEaCe ![]() |
