Hello, I have an OLD NAVITIMER II - model A13322. The dial does not say Chronometre...... this my watch a chronometre or not? The next replacement model all states on the dial - CHRONOMETRE Please assist? How off is mine then if it is not a chronometre? |

How off is mine then if it is not a chronometre? I don't think that the question you are asking is the one you mean to ask...... A chronometer is a fancy name for a watch, just like a chronograph is a fancy name for a stopwatch. Every watch is therefore a chronometer. I think what you mean is if it is a certified chronometer - did it pass the COSC tests. The answer is yes - the most reliable giveaway is that the 3rd digit of the model number is a 3 (usually non COSC models have a 0). The wording on the dial is just styling. |
