Hello everyone!
The name is Joe! 1st post here!

So I ordered my SA in white with Batons and will pick it up on Saturday from Tourneau (AD):D This will be my first breitling! Might as well do it right!

From what y'all know, should I buy the extended warranty they offer? I think it runs about $300 and basically covers everything "buckle to buckle".

Does anyone have any feedback/experience with Tourneau?

Thanks in advance!!!!

As a rule, extended warranties are pointless, as the item usually doesn't have a problem before the warranty expires, BUT if it gives you that extra sense of security, then get it. Breitlings are very reliable and are covered for 2 years from the factory.

I purchased a 2 yr warranty which covered the entire watch. After 1 yr I had broken the crown off my TAG after not securing it and catching it on a pocket seam. TAG would not cover the damage, but my "extra" warranty covered it.

Welcome. $300 doesn't seem like a lot of money compared to what you are likely paying for the watch. See if they will throw it in to the purchase as a courtesy. I know it doesn't benefit them to not charge you for it, just let them know you would be more likely to shop with them again if they did things like that for you ;)

Also, I think Tourneu adds on an extra year to the two years that Breitling offers when you purchase from them.

I believe their warranty will run to about 3 years total.

Yes they do have a trade-in program

And starting on Saturday they are running a 24 month 0% financing program

Thanks for all the info guys!

SO I worked out the details. I talked to the rep @ Tourneau and they are giving me 4% off MSRP (which is not much) but they are also going to give me 24months 0% financing....

do you think I can find a better deal?

I dont know about financing but send me a PM also and I can get you in touch with my AD if you are interested. He is out of state but can give you a good deal and you will save on in-state taxes.

4% off is pretty bad but if you need to finance and you're OK with that price, then just go for it. You'd save a lot alone in sales tax by buying from an out of state AD though and you'd get more of a discount so it might be better to buy that way instead of buying from Tourneau.
