On the 16th of November I gave my Chronomat Longitude to the Sydney Boutique for a complete overhaul. Bt the 20th they had contacted me with my itemised quote for repairs and service. This morning I got the following email...

"Dear Mr Lee
Your watch has been completed and is ready for collection, at your convenience.
Kind Regards
John
BREITLING BOUTIQUE SYDNEY"

That's TWELVE DAYS from the quote until the watch is ready for pickup! For a complete overhaul!!! Anyone ever had service that quick?

It BUK 4 weeks to replace my bracelet, but it was under warranty so mustn't grumble too much. 12 days is likely to be a record that stands for some time.

Sent of a Chronomat Frecce Tricolore ref A130501 to Breitling Belgium because water had come into the watch. Got a price for a full overhaul, new dial, hands and sapphire. Client agreed on the 25th of November for the full quotation. Got the watch back yesterday, 1st of December, like new. That's even quicker... Don't know how they do this in such short timeframe.

Well clearly in that case they skipped a proper regulation and adjustment cycle. Turn around in less than a week may impress clients short term but will increase the requests for regulation because the serviced watch is outside of COSC.

My thoughts exactly Roff. That's why I haven't called the client yet and I'm letting one of my watchmakers test the watch for accuracy, power reserve, water resistance and COSC specs. I'll let you know the results in a week or so.

Update on the Chronomat Frecce Tricolore. Still is working perfect within COSC specs.

Novacastrian, please let us know how your watch is doing when you get it back and have worn it a few days/weeks.

Sure will. I can't actually get down to Sydney for two weeks to pick it up anyway.
