Morning all,

this was in a sunday supplement here in the UK last weekend: I thought people might be interested in it.

Doubt it's officially sanctioned by Breitling as they've got some details wrong like the bracelet and they've confused the Second Hand with the Chrono Second Hand.

Pretty cool though…

I've got a much higher-res scan if anyone wants it but photobucket doesn't seem to let you have anything bigger than this. PM me or let me know how I can upload a bigger picture.

Cheers,

Cool find!

I like the first line in the writing too - "You'd only need to spend a few moments in Breitling's Swiss Factory to be reassured that with it's watched you really get what you pay for".

ABSOLUTELY! :D

That is pretty cool...there was a spread like that some time ago in Watch Time Magazine I think...but it was a different brand. That one is great!

That's very cool - a nice guide to the names of parts of the movement as well.

This is not the bracelet that comes standard on the watch, correct?

Thanks guys!

It is strange that they've used a different bracelet...

Any idea how to save that as a file?

That's a good idea.

One of the online photo printers have a free poster offer at the moment. I couldn't think what to put on one but that could be the answer.

If I find the details I'll post 'em on here.

LOL, now they'll get a run on Chronomat posters! It would make a cool framed poster.

I'm really glad that people like it.

They just had a few pages with exploded views of various things like this, a Canon DSLR, a PS3 and some speakers.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/moslive/article-1085077/Blow-Close-personal-design-classics.html

No idea why they chose what they chose but glad they went for this rather than a more predictable Rolex or Omega PO - especially as it's my favourite watch.

Not sure my scan would be good enough for a big poster (I had to cobble together multiple scans as the original was bigger than my A4 scanner) but I bet there are people on here with photoshop skills who could improve it.

I've emailed the magazine to see if they'll send me a 'proper copy' so I'll let you know what happens.

PS How do I save the flash animation, to which Breitling Bloke linked, on my computer?
