Hi All, I am gifting this watch to my husband in December. My Father bought it in approx 2001 brand new. He and I aren't sure of the model or any other info about it. Anything you can help us with would be greatly appreciated! Looking for: Model Service info (how regularly does it need to be serviced? How much should a service cost?) etc. |

Welcome aboard. That's an early model Chronomat dating from somewhere between 1984 and 1996 - probably the latter of that range if it was bought new in 2001. http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... at_73.html It should be serviced every 5 years or so, and cost is dependent on where you're based in the world. The Breitling website (http://www.breitling.com) details the service costs under the "Service" tab. Here in the UK a mechanical chronograph full service is £530, or an interim service is £175. However, parts will cost more. |
