This watch has caught my eye;

https://www.marketcrossjewellers.com/wa ... ba99-p6283

What would be the best way to go about getting a good price on this watch in the UK?

Book a trip to Bruges, Belgium, come to my store and even at retail price, it's a lot cheaper than on that site... And who knows, I might do a little extra on the price... :lol:

There's your answer, and you could come back with some nice Chocolates as well as a Watch!

And if you deal with Wim, you will get excellent service, a smile and hopefully a big glass of Cognac and a cigar. Can't ask for more!

Market cross jewellers are 5 minutes away from me. I know the owner (he wears an Audemars Piguet Rose Gold ROO, and they don't stock them), and I can usually get 25% discount.

Thanks for all the responses so far.

How do I find out what the official RRP is so that I know what % discount I am getting?

Prices are on the Breitling website. You have to choose a watch. Then select an AD. It should then show you a price

PM sent, I will now have a couple of recommendations....

Out of curiosity is there a reason these details can't be posted publicly? If an AD gives a discount is that best to not be out in the open?

I don't think Breitling would be pleased as it devalues the brand. Whether anyone from Breitling ever looks at these forums is debatable. I think most people experiencing a decent discount are thoughtful enough not to risk exposing any that do. Of course, you could be a Bretling employee and we've just given you this info anyway!!

Would like an opinion from any ADs on here. If they'd give it...

Hardly, and Admin has the lawyer letters to prove it.

Common sense says that it's not wise to publicly post that X AD will give Y% discounts.
