Hi , i have searched for the answer to this question but with no joy , just curious as to what the engravings are for on the reverse of my chronospace automatic , "negative" "med assistance" and so on ?

No need to search - it tells you what it is on the watch :-) It's the ground to air visual signal code - http://www.astm.org/Standards/F1591.htm
