I have been saving for next purchase and it is decision time, so some thought are appreciated please.

A Chronomat is on the list and I like the Airborne, with its bezel and dial. It will have to be to 44mm. The question is dial colour and strap or bracelet. My preference is the black dial on the fabric strap. Any experience on the strap?

The other possibility is the 1461 complication. I like the transocean but I can get the navitimer at a better price? What I didn't realise is that the Navitimer 1461 has grown to 48mm! When did this occur and is it now too big? I have a 7 inch wrist.

Many thanks

If you like the 1461 Complication why not an older one - personal bias (and in the interest of full disclosure it's for sale) is the Mark VI Complications 19 but there are Navitimer and Montbrillant Olympus options from a few years back in a more 'normal' size.
