Hello all!

New here but not to watches or Breitling. Found this site while looking for info on an 80360/F56059.

Firstly, I restore watches as a hobby. My work allows me to source parts from around the world including discontinued parts hiding in a part supply house drawer.

My Breitlings include the following all fully restored with NOS parts when required:

My question is about the aerospace. I have cleaned the case, stem, replaced the gaskets and lubed the stem gasket with silicon grease, installed a new 399 silver oxide (thanks to the info here as it had the wrong battery previously installed). I cleaned the stem mechanism and treated it with a contact enhancer and lubricant (tiny amount of deoxit enhancer). Now all functions are easily selected, as before the cleaning the stem and crown were packed with the previous owners DNA making selections of the functions stiff and intermittent. The movent was clean with no battery oxidation.

Now to the question, and I have googled this, it appears the minute hand advances every 30 seconds to a half minute point. That is, two advancements make up a minute. The problem with my watch (minor) is the minute hand advances to the 30 second mark in the dial when the digital passes from 59 seconds to 00 of the next minute.

I have followed the suggestions, blank display, pull and twist to no avail. The watch refuses to advance to the analog full minute mark at the 60 second digital mark. I have removed the battery with the analog second hand at the full minute gradation on the dial, then shorted the terminals in the movement to remove residual memory (if any). Reinstalled the battery and, poof, watch immediately advances to the analog 30 second mark with a digital starting at zero.

I have tried everything but cannot synch the analog 60 second mark with the digital 60 second count. It defaults to 30 seconds out. This is not a rate problem as the watch is spot on over 24 hours to the second.

It is though, pulling the second hand and physically positioning it 30 seconds ahead or behind would be the only fix, which I am very reticent to do (in fact, I won't do it as I can live with this). Is there a secret electronic fix not in the manual. I know that I can zero Quartz chronograph hands on many watches with a series of pushes or pulls or...

Thanks in advance and I will post pictures of the others soon.
