Hi everyone,

What are your thoughts on the Windrider A44355 with a Black Dial all Diamond. They have one for sale in the bay; Do you guys think it's crazy looking watch? is it to tacky to use? Do you think a diamond watch is for women use? I sorta like the look of it but I don't know how I would feel in wearing a diamond watch.

Thanks!!

It's not a bad deal considering all the stones are set aftermarket, but to pay someone to do this could cost you almost double the asking price depending on the stone cut and clarity. Good luck!

If it floats your boat, then buy it. Not much going for it really IMO.

If you like it buy it, who cares what other people think, 7 out of my 10 Breitlings have diamonds. I could care less if someone thinks it's tacky.
NOTE: THERE ARE MAYBE A HAND FULL OF PEOPLE ON HERE THAT LIKE DIAMONDS IN WATCHES

Price is decent, I'm assuming the diamonds are pretty nice. I can tell you the diamonds wholesale at $700 per CT. That's $10,500 just for the diamonds plus setting would be around $3-$5 per stone roughly around $2,000 for setting work, decent deal go for it

+1 from me too.

I know it's each to their own, and it'd be a dull world if we all liked the same things, but my personal opinion is summed up very nicely by Dracha there.

Diamonds belong on Rolex presidents and Cartier's, that sort of stuff. To me, a Breitling is a tool watch, no need for bling and totally out of place on this type of watch. As others have said, to each their own but for me, its heresy to put diamonds on a Breitling.

I love a diamond Breitling, but aftermarket diamonds don't do it for me. In saying that, it's your watch. Buy what you like :)

With all due respect to other member's opinions, please indulge mine... Until I acquired the Breitling shown below in 2007 I also felt diamonds only belonged on a Lady's wristwatch. I was already aware of the incredible quality and build of Breitling's factory diamond bezels and dials because earlier I had gifted my late wife, my daughter and my sister with Lady Breitlings equipped that way and they were stunning to say the least. Using only Top Wesseltons (VVS clarity, E color, near flawless), the settings are literally perfect. Closely compare a Breitling factory diamond bezel to aftermarket versions and IMO there really is no comparison. Still, diamonds are for girls, gangstahs and gamblers, right? :? Wrong. 8) I quickly discovered wearing this watch is a pleasure if for nothing more than enjoying looking at it and reading the time much more often than necessary even if I was only sitting home watching football or golf on TV. Take a walk to the mailbox on a sunny day and the "dreaded bling" is simply fun to admire. I've worn the piece casual and/or dress and because I'm old enough to be comfortable with myself, never felt self conscious wearing it. It's just like any other watch but it is so striking at first glance it became fun to wear. I have never heard a negative comment about it except on the various watch fora but personal preferences and opinions are what make us different which is of course a good thing.

Recently I acquired one of my "grail" Breitlings, a black dial all SS Crosswind and I wear it quite a lot these days. The diamond Evo with UTC module has been "appropriated" by my Lady friend and it would probably take a crowbar or an act of Congress to pry it off her wrist. Actually, I re-sized the bracelet for her earlier this year for an experiment (she likes large watches and loves diamonds) and I am either too lazy to re-size it for my wrist again or more truthfully, the piece does indeed look better when she wears it. Heck, I wore it for seven years and loved it and now I love seeing her wear and enjoy the watch. It's especially funny when one of her girlfriends asks her what the "little watch" is and a discombobulated explanation of Universal Coordinated Time ensues.  I'll try to get a wrist shot of her wearing it and post it here in the near future. A couple shots of my Crosswind and one of my Lady friend are below a few of the diamond Evo for your perusal. Thanks for listening...
Best,
Ron

Not my cup of tea, but as others have said if you like it that is all that matters. Ron's on the other hand is one of the best I have seen.

On a side note how do they set those diamonds in the bracelet? Is each stainless link hollowed out a bit? I get how a standard diamond ring setting works, but that bracelet and case seems like mega-work....and tedious at that.

I would love to see a video showing how the OEM diamond bezels are "set". I can't imagine that level of precision being done by hand. It must be computerized somehow but maybe it's some kind of "trade secret" because I've never read or seen a description of the work performed... :? :?:

Ron

They might be a girl's best friend, must definettly a boy's worst nightmare. It hurts the eye just to look at it. It's blinding bling,
