I just have had an issue with my B50. After wearing since first week of February with workdays daily 2 alarms (tone & vibra) and some Display-Light-use (Level 1, no auto-trigger) the battery drops smooth down until mid of May.

I picked up the watch in the morning with 17% Battery-Level... but 2 hours later it dropped below 15% and after 3.5 hours the watch stopped to work - and also losed unfortunately all settings. The first charge during nighthours was successfuel and after Synchro and new setting of all functions it works as before (now, one week later, with 97% Battery).

I know the discharge-characteristics of the new Battery-Technologies but I don't believe that this was such issue. I think the measurement and display of the Charge-Percentage is not accurate after a while or at least at the close end of battery-charge.

Has any other have had such effects?

Thanks for your feedbacks!

There's been a number of other problems noted with the B50 unfortunately, but battery issues are a new one as far as I know. :?

I'm sure present owners of the B50 will chime in on this one soon.

Chime in. Very good driver .
I think it might be battery tech or how the meter is reading the available charge. For it continue on for 35 hours to drain the remaining 15% but also lose 2% over 2 hours makes me think the meter is averaging capacity, and the battery has an exponential drain down rate that might be unpredictable. Many rechargeables do. Might be best to charge more often and not let the watch go below 10-15%. Does it have an alarm you can set to your own level, to advise on battery capacity? Seems to have everything else. That might be handy.

Hi there. My B50 does exactly the same thing. I bought mine in Jan 2015 and charged it 3 or 4 times. I've also noticed after 20% it drops rapidly. It doesn't really bother me. I just charge it when it gets to say 30%

Thanks for your feedbacks!
