Post subject:  Value of Montbrillant Eclipse?

Hello everyone

I'm interested in purchasing a Breitling Montbrillant Eclipse and would like to know what everyone values this piece at. I understand that a watch is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it, but would like a general range from all the experts at home.

This particular watch is a stainless model A43030, moderately worn Breitling tan leather band with stainless Breitling buckle, light scratches on crystal, "excellent" condition case and dial, and the watch comes with all papers but no box. Service history is unknown.

At the moment I can't post any pictures of it but I'll keep trying. It's currently being offered at $3,250 and think that might be a bit high. Any opinions?

Welcome to BreitlingSource. The FAQs recommend checking sold prices on eBay and dealer asking prices on Chrono24 for valuations. This isn't a piece that is always available but they do come up fairly regularly to help with valuations. With a piece of this age the service history is going to be a major factor in the value as a we vice could be around $600 - $700.
