I am going to purchase this watch:

Image

msrp is $14,420

What % can I expect to save?

Sans negotiations, I was offered 15% off - sale price of $12,257

I would like to save 25.3% and pay $10,777

Seeing as it is a very new watch, is there anyone in the US that would take my offer?

No.

The days of 25% plus discounts are over because Breitling is reducing dealer margin and clamping down on excessive discounting. You might be able to get slightly better than 15%, but not more than 20%.

Try contacting Govbergs, site sponsor and highly recommended here. PM member jnelson3097 for details.

Good to see you picked up a watch you wanted. But I have to ask - why 25.3%? It's an extremely specific discount to have been looking for! Just curious.....

I contacted him and he was helpful, but I needed it right away for an upcoming trip. Thanks for the info.

I've seen it in the metal - It is a nice watch...in a gargantuan watch sort of way. ;)

Here's a question for you guys.

The first picture I uploaded is when I first bought the watch.

The chronometer rested at the "12" position on the hour subdial.

For whatever reason, over the few months after the purchase that subdial has moved backwards.
It now rests at the "11" position.

Should I have it looked at?

Yes, that's what the warranty is for.

It's a coupling issue with the chrono and won't be the first example that the service centre has seen.
