Hi there. First of all i'm from Denmark and new in this forum (i'm about to buy my first Breitling watch) I'm currently looking at some different watches but especially one got my attention. First of all i would like some help oabout the ref. nr. on the watch witch is 81611/B13019. Is it rare for the watch to have two reference numbers from both the old and new navitimer? (what does it mean?) Secondly what would the estimated value be on this watch at the moment? And is it a watch witch is likely to keep its value in the future? It is told to be from 1992 and in really good condition. I have added pictures of the watch. Thanks!! |

Welcome to BreitlingSource. The piece is from a transitional time when Breitling was shifting from old style model numbers (81611) to new (B13019), no real significance to it. FAQs recommend checking sold items on eBay and dealer asking prices on Chrono24 for valuation advice, B13019 will generate more matches. You can also research A13019 which is an identical watch except for the addition of gold accents on yours which will have minimal impact on price. Biggest impact on pricing for a watch of that age will be service history, if there isn't any and if there is no evidence of a service in the last 5 - 7 years then you should factor that into the purchase price - $700 give or take. With a piece of this age the depreciation is pretty much done so it's not going to lose any more value, but don't expect it to gain much either. |

Okay, so there is no need to worry about the watch not being original and repaired with parts from a newer model ?? I have added another picture showing the reference numbers. Do you think a price of 2382,83 US dollars sounds okay? There is evidence of service last year. |
