Guys, I have just recieved my first watch winder. How should it be set for Breitling watches. Clock wise, counter clock wise or combo? Thanks for your help on this elementary question.

Depends on which watch. Go here: http://www.breitlingsource.com/breitlin ... ries.shtml and select the model and it tells you which watchwinder direction you need. Say thanks to Admin for that.

I just bought a cheap winder (£40) on eBay.
To my suprise it's very quiet & works fantastic.

It's set to wind 5 min clockwise rest 15min then wind 5min anti clockwise.

I used to loose 1 min/day when just wearing the watch. It's been in the winder 3 days & hasn't lost more then 3 secs  :D

It's funny but some watches seem to do far better in winders than others. I had a <say it quietly> Tag Aquagraph  a few years ago and it gained about 10 seconds a day on the wrist, but no more than a couple a day in the winder. I guess in that particular case it was telling me that I shouldn't wear the thing anymore!

I put my SOH in the winder. I will check out the accurcy as it spends some time in the winder. I guess it makes sense that an active watch would keep better time.
