Am I correct in that the A44362 is the newer version of the 6.75 (after they stopped using the Speed designation in 2011) whereas the A4436212 is the older version (AKA the pre-Speed version...meaning before 2010)? Thanks.

Model designation is A44362, the additional letters are just additional information. The speed version is A44364 and I think (emphasis think) the regular version took the same reference at that point.

The A44364 is the latest version, also known as 6.75 speed.

OK, that is where I am confused then. The models section of this site says the 6.75 Speed (AKA the A44364) was only made in 2011 and 2012 and then went back to the 6.75 designation. So does the A44364 cover the 2 years of the speed and then the post-2012 6.75?? Or is there a new model number for the post-2012, non-Speed versions?

As I said, the 44364 was for the Speed variant, and I believe that the 'regular' model changed designation at the same time.
