Not sure I like the dial graphics on the Galactic Unitime, but bezel is interesting, nice to see a more robust material where scratches are prone.

Superocean II looks interesting, nice to see the different size options. Thickness (?) will have to be considered and the blue looks more shiny/metallic. Bezel is an improvement with lume pip. Dial is still a little busy for a diver with 24 hour numbers.

I'm sure the prices won't be pretty, :( .

I think the Galactic Unitime look pretty cool! The fact they they are using tungsten for the bezel is really cool too, this is a hit imho!

Galactic Unitime is a winner for me.

I agree. I love the Galactic but its 2-4mm too big.

That looks pretty neat. One gripe (and a small one), I just don't like the crown. Just as much as I don't like it on the Chronomat either. Other than that, all good. 44mm is fairly big for a 3 hander.

Good to finally see an in house 3 hander, Breitling have been working on one for years but always said that they couldn't make the economics work to produce it commercially. That's probably a bad sign for retail price on this, but we'll see. I like the look of the Unitime, the map looks much cleaner than previous versions. Would like to see one in the metal before committing, the rendering doesn't make the map look very detailed - coastlines don't look quite right for example, but that may be rendering limitations.

The SuperOcean II looks a bit busy with all 12 numbers, and I imagine that will be pronounced in the smaller sizes, I'm not sure about that one. Smaller Colt is a logical extension of the announcement from a couple of weeks ago and I'm just as positive on this version. I'm becoming ever more convinced that the Bentley partnership has run its course, it started with the iconic Le Mans and is now just a showcase for overpriced gimmicky pieces.

The breitling website says it costs $9000 on the pilot bracelet. Figured there would be a good price tag considering it was in house.
I also like the fact that they are starting to use new materials rather than steel.

Although I am thrilled that Breitling is beginning to utilize new materials in their watches I don't know if I am ready to plunk down $9000 for the new Galactic. Love the bezel but the graphics do absolutely nothing for me. Nice that they now have an in house three hander but I think they would have been better served if they used conventional materials and brought it in at a much lower price!

Very anxious to see the new Galactic. Looks really good to me to be honest. Think it will even look better in real life. Price tag is quite high but was to be expected for Manufacture Calibre of course. SOII, don't know, need to see the watch to make a final opinion about it. Like the fact they are trying out new materials and kinda glad they didn't just throw a ceramic bezel on the Galactic. The color of tungsten carbide will be much nicer with the steel case IMO.

Breitling admitted that the platinum bezel on the Mark VI was simply to help justify the high price, which in that case was required by the contractual agreement with Bentley. I can't help thinking that the tungsten is a similar attempt to justify the high price of the in house three hand (dictated by economic necessity in this case). I think it works as a material, I'm not convinced it is going to drive enough sales at that price point - there's a lot of competition from perceived 'better' brands.

The Galactic Unitime is a nice surprise. The dial seems to me to be a nod to the vintage Unitime dials, and certainly captures more of that vibe than the current TOC Unitime. I also like the use of tungsten carbide on the bezel -- tungsten carbide has a beautiful "dark" look, and wards off scratches like nobody's business. The 3-hander in-house movement is also a nice step forward. I'll bet this one will look great on the wrist. (One other minor bonus is that the 24-hour dial now correctly shows Moscow as UTC +3 -- the current TOC Unitimes have Moscow at UTC +4, which was correct until Russia again changed course recently).

As for the SO2, I agree that the use of numerals gives things a bit of a cramped feel. That being said, the use of numerals, particularly in conjunction with the inner ring of military time numerals, gives this one a bit of a field watch vibe, which may be what Breitling was after. I definitely prefer the SO2 to the current SO.

I definitely like both the Galactic Unitime as well as the Superocean II.
I do like the dial on the Unitime. It is more along the lines of what we have expected when the Transocean Unitime was announced 2-3 years ago plus the tungsten bezel sounds like an interesting addition. The Superocen has finally graduated into a proper dive watch with a more functional bezel with the limed pip plus the 15 min countown markers on it.
I like these two so far.

I like the SO II. The older SOs and Steelfishes all had fairly digit-busy dials, so it seems faithful to its design heritage.
