The appreciation of the Swiss franc I would suggest is the reason for the price hike. Given the usual CLI increase the swiss have a double barrel this year. Natural inflation cost and an exchange problem. Eye watering

Does anyone know if the price of the new Breitling Colt Chronograph Automatic is accurate at $5300 per Breitlings Made to Measure Section on a bracelet?? Seemed crazy high considering the Quartz Chronograh is listed at $3900. At that price it's a pass for me, too bad was excited to see a nice entry level mechanical chronograph as a daily beater. Personally I'll opt for the avenger ii or IWC Aquatimer Chronograph for the next edition to my collection if that's accurate. Sorry just venting on the long awaited dissapointment. Thanks! |

I went out and bought my new navitimer 01 as soon as I heard about the cap lift on the swiss franc it can only get worse for buyers of high end swiss merchandise . http://www.theguardian.com/business/201 ... land-franc |
