I have a white gold daytona 116509 panda dial for best and I want my Breitling to be my 'casual' beater watch. I have a 2002 Crosswind at present and I'm thinking of trading it plus £500 cash for a 2009 just serviced Emergency Mission, what would you do?? This: ![]() Or this: ![]() |

Well it's an Emergency Mission rather than an Emergency, but still vastly different watches. To me it's easy because one is mechanical and one is quartz, and the Crosswind is an iconic design in my mind. If quartz doesn't bother you and you can live with the slightly larger size and considerably higher weight then go with your heart. |

Crosswind and you have to pay 500 quid? No chance I would be going for deal. To me the Crosswind is much more apealing watch than the Emergency Mission. To a large extent for exactly the same reason as mentioned by Roff already. Final decision is yours of course. |

Thanks....I've knocked the offer back. I love my crosswind and I'm keeping it. Maybe the emergency mission would be a short term novelty for me?? |
