Well, nobody has a crystal ball to look into the future but normally, LE's aren't more valuable than non-LE's. The problem is that Breitling has had so many LE and SE that it is not so special anymore. Well, that's my opinion. Although 250 is a low number, I don't think it will hold value as much as you would like to.... |

Early blacksteel pieces had a brief premium run - the Skyland sold on eBay for about 20% over list for a few weeks when it first launched. Since then Breitling has thrown BS at pretty much everything and removed any exclusivity it had. Like virtually every other LE this will end up being 'just' another used piece. From a $ perspective it will be worth more than a comparable vintage 'normal' SA, but that's because it cost more new, % residual value will be comparable. The good news with pieces like this is that the thing that makes them an LE doesn't limit the number of potential buyers in the same way that logo LEs do. |
