Bought my new Navitimer Pan American last September after fell in love with it. Over the next months, it was consistently fast 7 seconds, just outside specs. Reading posts I was going to give it several months to settle down before taking it back to AD to get it adjusted. I thought 4 months was enough time to settle down but was still consistently 7 seconds fast. The day before I was planning on taking it in, it became 5 seconds fast and remained 5 seconds for the next two weeks. I had been used to a Casio G-Shock with "atomic time" setting itself every day and subconsciously was disappointed it was not super accurate. Well, starting last week, it is right on. Started checking it every night and has not lost or gained a second in over a week. I guess I am now satisfied completely. Beautiful watch and now super accurate. Totally sold. Guess it is a keeper. |

My Unitime (based on the same movement, but with the unitime complication) has gone through an occasional period of being too fast or slow. During one slow period of about a month it was consistently running 5-8s slow per day. When I had just about given up and was about to send it in, it (seemingly magically) started running normal. In that time, most days it runs 0 to +\-1 sec per day, and occasionally gains or loses more on a given day. Basically, it is not abnormal to get fluctuations. Focus on long term accuracy not day to day. |

If you have one, open the clock app, select the "world clock" tab on the bottom left, and you should see an analog clock with a seconds hand. Every morning I check to see how my Navitimer is running. I usually gain 0-1 second per day. Once I hit 5 seconds fast I put the watch crown up overnight and in the morning it's lost 3-5 seconds and is back to being spot on. |

I compare it to the emerald time app. It uses the internet to sync to atomic clocks real time. Currently my watch is 1.5s ahead, which is a 0.5s gain over the last 24hrs, since yesterday around now it was 1s ahead. |
