I like the display back and that is about it. To me it looks like the guys over at Shinola in Detroit tried to copy a Premier and failed. That mesh bracelet it a winner in my book as always. |

1920s tech, 1940s logo, ???? dial, 1960s hands. and the logo is even bolder than the worst refinisher's. mesh is nice. |

the hardest thing for me to imagine is there's a design team (supposedly?) and they came up wit this , and they all congratulate themselves with a job well done, and then management signs off on it , so everyone is pleased . Right ?? all nicely done all good work delivered doesnt anyone just go 'ermmm.. guys ? , we set out to do something , maybe make a 'museum' piece in a limited edition, shouldnt we at least try to keep the design details limited to 1 (one) decade instead of trying to use up all our name heritage at once and throwing it at a single watch?" completely missed the mark .. not even on the same continent anymore |

I like the concept of the movement and the monopusher element, design wise a complete miss. That logo taken in isolation would be called as fake in a heartbeat on a vintage piece. |

I like it, all the way around actually. Put it on a brown croc and it's a winner. |

I'm with Serge, I really like this as well. Guys, they are called vintage watches for a reason! New pieces will never be the same as the older pieces you love. Let it go!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I don't know how to put it. The idea is good. But the problem is that this is a new model. Even though the design is vintage but it is still a new model. Rightfully this only appeals to vintage lovers, but vintage lovers will buy vintage pieces, not vintage looking pieces. Personally I won't spend a premium to buy a "vintage wanna be". Even if they lower the limited production to less than 20, I still don't think it's worthwhile. Vintage pieces have that "withstand the test of time" and sentimental charisma while pieces today display quality and cutting edge on their designs. This one is neither here nor there. It looks cheap but yet it is not a vintage piece. I personally don't think it will sell well. |

funny, as many "regular guys" like it, while the aficionados hate it, so Breitling did something right apparently. to clarify - we 've seen much worse from Breitling, basically it's a great idea, but with some small changes it could have been excellent. If you do a revival piece that reinterprets the1940s design, why not use the correct 1940s hands, why choose a typical mid-60s design ? if you choose to use your 1940s logo, why make it so bold it dominates the whole dial ? So, MattC, yes, we'll "get over it", though we surprisingly seem to be the last still passionate about the brand. |

Perhaps people should 'get over' the fact that some people are purists. A piece that inspires debate and different opinions - takes me back to the good old days of BreitlingSource when there was spirited (and good natured) discussion on releases! |
