Hi everyone if you have a chronomat with the screw down pushers, and you actually use them, do you find the screwdown kinda annoying? I'm thinking if each time I went to use them and have to unscrew it and screw it, wouldn't it get annoying? I would use it all time time when I'm cooking or maybe timing myself when I park at a meter ![]() Thanks! |

For those types of use you don't need to screw them down, just leave them unscrewed. Screw down pushers are a safety feature to avoid inadvertent operation of the pushers under water and so they only need to be screwed down when swimming / diving. |

Thanks Roff, but now if I left them loose, would they be more likely to be damaged if I bang my watch against the edge of a wall or something? I tried it yesterday at an AD but didn't really noticed if they moved a lot when loose. The nice salesman told me the same thing about leaving them loose and that there are gaskets already to prevent dust from getting in. |

No more risk than any watch without screwdown pushers. |
