I know that the pilot bracelet has been successfully used on the AS. I suppose there is no reason it could not be used on the Steelfish? Perhaps this is a dumb question, it sounds like I just answered my own question.
I love the Blackbird, but I am still partial to the looks of the Steelfish dial, and really would not use the chronograph functions.
The longer I have my Steelfish, the more I like it each day.
My actual intent would be to get the pilot bracelet of the Blackbird, with the bevelled edges, as well as the brushed to match the Steelfish. What do you folks think of that idea?
Cheers,
Carl

It all very much depends on the end links. I thought the Pilot bracelet end links were flat, but the Steelfish case is slightly rounded in between the lugs. I always go back to my Speed bracelet test on the SA. It really should've fitted perfectly, but it was only 90% there. I'd be loathe to fork out on bracelet without knowing that it'd fit 100%.

BUT, if it does fit, I reckon it'd look great.

Hey Skyline78,
Well, I am going to try and find the posting, where the pilot bracelet was fitted to the Avenger Skyland. Wherever it was, I don't know if it is in these forums or Watchuseek or Timezone. I will try and pay more attention to the comments, when and if I find it. I tried to do a search on here yesterday, but it did not turn up.
Driver8,
Like you say, Driver 8, it might only fit somewhat. If it is not 100%, then I would not feel happy about it. In my opinion, then it is not meant to be. Also, the pilot bracelet is over a grand, so that is another reason I would want it to be 100%. I think it means a trip to my AD, they are very helpful indeed.
Cheers,
Carl

Skyline 78,
Here is the link to the Gallery posting, AS on Pilot bracelet. It looks great, but like Driver8 says, it's not a 100% fit because of the differences in the cases. Right at the lugs, is not as exact a fit as the PRO II. I guess that does it for me, the Pilot on my Steelfish, I think the fact that it is not as exact a fit would start to bug me, especially after paying over a grand.
I must admit, the Pilot does look great on the AS though.
Cheers,
Carl

I saw the pics of the AS and I dont like it very much. I cant put my finger on the exact reason, but the chunky watches need a chunky bracelet like the proII. The pilot looks a bit too sophisticated for the ProII models.
