I have a new Avenger II GMT purchased from an AD one month ago. I noticed the watch would be stopped a lot if I did not wear it for a day which is unusual as I do the same with my other Breitling watched and they would keep operating. So I ran five tests on the GMT in which I fully wound it up and let it run until stopped. Here are the test results. #1 25h #2 35.6h #3 28.6h #4 30.7h #5 28h 50m (I did the same test on one of my Seawolfs and it ran 42.5h) Any ideas before I send it out for service. |

It's probably not power reserve per se, rather the full power reserve isn't being delivered because of increased inertia in the running train. That could be a lubrication issue, dirt, a depthing problem or any number of potential causes. |

If you have some warrantee from the ad then send it in for a service. Enjoy the wear. Sounds like it needs some TLC. |

I bought mine new and it is the same way. I wouldn't be alarmed. It's always around 30ish hours. One time I wore it for a week straight and it ran for over 40 hours as advertised. |

Well I phoned Breitling Service and told them about the problem and they said bring it to my AD to be sent in, so that's what I did. |

Update: I dropped the watch off at my AD had they shipped it off to Breitling Canada for me. Two week later the watch is returned and in two tests the watch ran 48 hours before stopping. So there was a problem with the mainspring and/or clutch and now it is fixed. Of 23 Breitling watches I have owned, this is the first I ever had to get serviced. |
