My first Brand New Breitling. This was suppose to be an enjoyable experience but it is turning into a Bad Experience.

This is my replacement watch from my AD. I had it replaced because the Minute hand on the previous watch did not reset to "0" but to 29min.

After 3 months with the new "replacement" watch it is happening again.

I can't believe it.

Breitling for me, all the way.

It seems like the model is flawed. I would personally attempt to get a refund / exchange and move on.

Yes. I am going in that direction. I wonder if the Black Steel version of this watch could have the same problem. I'm sure they are manufactured in a slightly different production line or something. The next step would probably be a Navi but I'm not sure.

I would return it for repair under warrantee. It's so disappointing when something like this happens. All seems surreal to me and weird how the same fault is coming up again.

The Black Steel shares the same movement so if there is a movement quality issue then the Black Steel may also have the same problem.
The movement in the Chronospace Auto is a well proven Cal 23 that has been around for a while in the pre-inhouse Navitimers.
I have one in my Navitimer Superconstellation LE and I have not experienced these problems.
As such I am not inclined to think that it is a movement issue.
Is it just me or are we hearing more and more reports of quality issues with Breitling watches in the last couple of years?
Is their QA becoming a victim of cost obsession?

Thanks Wessa. I don't really know what to do. I like the Breitling brand for one specific reason. Their watches are almost over-engineered. Their cases and bracelets thick and strong. This look and feel appeals to me. I am actually considering going Quarts at the moment. What I don't like about the quarts is they will probably only last 20 years or so. The next step would be to go for some of Breitling's inhouse movements. The problem with is plan is they cost much more. At the moment I'm a bit stuck (and disappointed).
