I bought a co pilot for my emergency and am really unimpressed with how it functions, i'm just looking for other peoples experiences. On mine the chrono reset simply doesn't reset when you want it too, sometimes it needs three stabs at the button and holding to reset. Its been back twice to BUk and is just the same. I realise you need to hold to reset which just prolongs things further. The watch crown reset is so much sweeter. You almost need a technique to get the switch to function first time. I'm wondering if this is why it was dropped. I'm wondering if this is a titanium issue, rubbing a rectangle of titanium in a titanium rectangular hole is clearly going to cause a slight stickiness ? I'm guessing the steel ones are better ? Neither left of right switch has a nice click to it, at this price ( which is now ludicrous ) i'd expect it to be perfect. I may go for a replacement next. Anyone using one regularly ? |

Mine appears to function fine, and starting/stopping the chrono (which then logs TKOFF/LDG time) works OK. Holding to reset seems perfectly natural. Only issue I had was that it runs battery out faster than the watch (in the spec it's 3 years) and at my most recent battery change they fitted the wrong battery and it ran out in 6 months!! All sorted now though. |

I've got the stainless one. Works perfectly. Had it for many years. |
