Post subject: | DUAL UTC's |
Hello all! I have a B13050.1 with a UTC B61172 - white dials. I also have a second UTC B61177 - blue dial. I purchased a white dial for the second UTC. I have a pilot's bracelet that is 18mm on each end. I want to add the second UTC to my watch so that the main case has a UTC on either side. My concern is that that second UTC will be upside-down. Is it possible to modify the second UTC case so we can turn the module around and make room for the winding pin on the opposite side? Has anyone done or seen this? Can it be done? Opinions? Thanks, Rick |

Hello. I do not believe it will look right, if it can be done at all, because of how the case on the module is tapers from top to bottom, so flipped around it would be a different mm size and not compatible with any lug width. That being said, maybe an adapter could be machined but again, I believe this would be difficult to attempt. |

I don't mean to turn the case around. I mean to keep the same taper away from the main watch. I mean to turn the actual module inside the UTC case around so it's in line with the main watch and first UTC. I hope that makes sense. In fact, instead of altering the second UTC case - we might be able to simply turn the face. The winder will be on the opposite side but that may not be so bad. RIck |
