Could any one recommend a reputable repair shop, in the Dallas, Tx area, for Breitling watches? thanks |

I can't recommend anywhere myself as I'm several thousand miles away from you, but sending it to Breitling USA will always be your best bet. What type of repair are we talking about? Something with the movement, or something like the bracelet? A bracelet repair could possibly be done locally, but movement stuff is always better handled by Breitling themselves. |

In that case I'd say definitely send it to BUSA. Contact details here - http://www.breitlingsource.com/contact.shtml You also haven't said what model it is, or if it's an auto or quartz - If it's an auto, and you don't want to pay out for a Breilting service (which can be expensive) then any competant watch-maker should be able to look at it, as most auto watches are very similar internally. Alternatively have a look on the Breitling website (www.breitling.com) for contact details of local service-ADs. If it's quartz, then it really will need a trip to Breitling as they are likely to be the only people with the parts for it. |

IF you have not seen this it is very impressive the level of service that the watch receives at Breitling. Every used watch I get I send to them. Service on an automatic is probably going to be in the $450 - $500 range, but you may be facing more, as the watch has completely stopped - impossible to say because we don't know why it stopped running. I'm guessing that it hasn't been serviced in its 8 years of life. |

thats an impressive video ! I am soon to recieve my first 'ling, and when I called nearest AD to ask about servicing I had to ask twice about the cost as I thought 500 was a bit high, but after seeing that vid and what it entails... I definetly think its a worthwhile investment ! |
