I just picked up my Breitling Super Avenger USA Edition today. It was one of the first delivered in the US. I also picked up the Breitling Chronomat Raven Edition, it is 10x better in person than the photos i've seen. I just need to wait 2-3 more weeks to pick up the B50 cockpit to complete the trio. :lingsrock:

At the AD:

How weird you posted this. I just got back from the AD and saw both of those pieces today. The SA is very military looking and the Raven is quite sporty with the orange accents.

I also saw the new Colt automatic with a black dial, very sharp and sits great on the wrist with it's low profile (does have a lug length of about 54mm though). The AD was ordering in a blue Colt for me to look at.

They had the new Galactic 44 day/date in both the black and silver dials (also comes in blue). This case also sat very well on the wrist with a total thickness of about 14mm and lug length of about 52mm.

Congrats on your new pickups!

They put the Super Avenger on the PROIII W/ Blacksteel Deployment buckle instead of the Khaki Military Strap. The military strap had a quality issue, I found it a nice way for Breitling to add $1000 to the price. I can't believe the buckle alone cost $1000.

I think the SA looks great. And I actually must confess to STILL quite liking the Raven too!

(Obviously the usual caveats of "how much better it would be if they made these in ceramic instead of blacksteel, blah, blah, blah, still applies of course!)

I agree that Ceramic would be much better, but I am def enjoying the Raven. It seems larger than 44mm also.
