I saw this posted on timezone today and was curious as to what this forum will think of it.

Yes I saw it at the Breitling roadshow and got a shock. The whole color execution was terrible. Orange rubber? Eventually when it gets dirty overtime it will make the watch look worst. But....well it is highly legible. Maybe some pilot requested for this and just wanted something that is highly functional and legible for his work and did not care about the overall aesthetics. Lol....

Here's a life photo of the monster:

I think that looks good, however I don't think I would own one myself.

Talk about bringing the comic book to life. It matches the skin tone of the lady in the background

Carbon coating, rubber inserts.....
What ever happened to classic high end timekeeping pieces with taste?

I wouldn't have expected something like that from Breitling. It makes me wonder what they will come up with next? Lime green?

Saw it in real life as my rep tried to sell it to me to put in in the window. It will draw attention he said.

I passed obviously.

You know what, I don't hate that quite as much as I should! I think it looks hideous in the catalogue picture, but that real-life pic doesn't look as bad.

Obviously I've never, EVER own it, as it's got the "classic" triple-whammy of DLC, Buck-bezel AND rubber (and orange rubber no less!), but the colour scheme is very reminiscent of AP ROO Volcano.... which I don't hate.

(Maybe the sun has addled my brain today...... Normal service will resume tomorrow!)

For comparison purpose, the AP ROO Volcano

The real life pic of the Breitling doesn't look that bad, very sporty! Kind of surprised they did it on the 01 Chronomat, needs fully lumed hour markers though.

The orange AP does nothing for me, too much orange.
