Hey guys!

Just picked up a brand new Breitling Superocean Chrono II!

I love the watch, the finishing and quality of Breitlings are really second to none in their price category!

I do have a questions though, unfortunately I dinged the polished part of the bezel (the part nearest the crystal). I was wondering if this part if actually part of the case or if it can be replaced, I don't believe it can be polished out, I attached some pictures for you to look at! Thanks for the help! I have the part that is dinged circled in red.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

I'm on a phone so can't see too well whether it is bezel or case. If it doesn't rotate with the bezel then it is the case chimney and may be able to be refinished to at least make it look less obvious.

Looks like the dimple is in the chimney and maybe a little too deep to polish out, but a jeweler with the proper tools may be able to make it look a little better (may have to take bezel off to work on it).

All that rubber, and you just missed it! This kind of thing happens unfortunately, as stated above, it may be able to be polished out to look a little less noticeable. Good luck!

If it's too deep to polish out without removing too much of the original surface, then it could be laser welded and refinished. There are specialist repairers who use this technique, such as Watchworks (http://www.watchworks.co.uk/renovation.html). I've not used them myself, but from reading on other watch forums they appear to have established a very good reputation for this kind of repair.

Looks like part of the chimney. Not sure if that's a separate ring on the case or part of the actual case on the SOC.
