Hi all, I have just bought an Avenger GMT. I've only had it for 5 days and love it but on close inspection the second and minute hands don't quite align. The minute hand is slightly in front of it's marker as the second hand hits 0. The minute hand doesn't completely align until the second hand hits about 17 seconds. Am I expecting too much? I wouldn't normally watch something this closely but I was admiring the smooth sweep of the hands on my new watch when I noticed and now it bugs me. I'll do a full review/ introduction when I get a chance to take some pics, |

That's gearing slack, it's normal, but usually vice versa. It also depends in which direction you move the crown pressing it down (it's hard not to move it slightly). You can adjust it by putting a minute hand slightly back to the marker when seconds hand hit the 60 mark. It can be done perfectly with some practice. |

thanks for the replies Roffensian - do you mean it will just go back to how it is now? Is it a fault or just one of those things they all do? |
