Well at last the wait is over - I collected my first gen watch today so can join the club proper!! I immediately changed the CA's strap for this little number - a la Di Caprio's CA in Blood Diamond - well similar combo to it colour wise.

If you look you'll see he's left the crown undone!! You'd think someone who wears a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Minute Repeater, valued at $175,000 and a limited edition of 200 pieces, should know better!!

I blasted the SS buckle of the strap to make it a bit more like Ti -I think that works?

Congrats on the new watch, Mark!!! Nice strap! I like the color, but prefer the shape of the Breitling straps.. doesn't Di Modell make Breitling style straps too?

Well they do in croc and alligator but I quite liked this strap - it's well made, very very thick, very neatly stitched and finished edges. Keepers are also stitched and all for just $28!! Add $100 if it were a Panera for the same quality!!

Ordered the black waterproof leather Chronissimo strap as well - that looks a bit more like the padded Breitling strap.
