Hi, All. I want to get this watch for my wife http://www.amazon.com/Breitling-Transocean-Chronograph-Watch-A4131012/dp/B00JEQXMFG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1411679718&sr=8-2&keywords=transocean+38. I did some research and most think it is ok to buy from Amazon. But the watch is from a third party dealer. Do you know if this dealer is legit? Thanks |

Welcome aboard. The search function is your friend on this one - search.php?keywords=authenticwatches&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search Authenticwatches have been mentioned many times on here (30 pages worth of "mentions" in fact according to the above search link!), but in short, yes they sell genuine watches but they are a grey market dealer. Again, a quick search on the term "grey market dealer" will explain what that means, but basically you will be buying a genuine watch from a non-approved source and without an official Breitling warranty.... and any other type of warranty offered may not be worth the paper it's written on as you have no guarantee that any repairs will be completed with genuine Breitling parts. If you do buy from them it's best to just assume no warranty at all and be prepared to pay Breitling to fix any issues out of your own pocket. |
