Hi all. First post here, and a (potentially) scandalous question.

I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Breitling fan with two at present (Emergency and a 44mm Steelfish), but occasionally I veer off course. My last pick up was an Omega X-33 Missions, which I'd always admired and it's gotten plenty of wrist time in the last couple years I've had it.

I've been idly looking for an automatic chrono - something that would fit under a shirt cuff a little better than the Steelfish, and recently have been looking hard at the Omega Aqua Terra GMT. I love the "teak" face and display back of the Omega and the second time zone would be useful as I frequently travel internationally.

Of course, I'm on vacation this week, and while out shopping with the better half spot a Chronomat 44 on offer at an *excellent* price (26% off list, new piece). Now I'm debating whether or not the allure of the deal (and a third Breitling) is worth the trade-off on the second time zone, display back and the croc + deployant of the Omega.

I know, you never come to a Breitling forum to ask "should I buy another Breitling" but here I am anyway. :)

Thanks in advance for the comments.

Welcome to BreitlingSource. I don't do x vs. y advice because that comes down to personal choice, but if you can afford either then you should choose the watch that you prefer. Choosing a better deal over a better (to you) watch is short term. You only pay for it once, you live with the choice every day.

I'd be tempted by the AT Chrono. Not a greater lover of the Chronomat. Personal choice of course.

Of those two personally I would go with the Chronomat. If it were going against the Planet Ocean, then it would be harder for me to choose: the AT is a bit dressy for my taste.

The AT is a great watch. I have a PO chrono and love it. That said I just ordered a Chronomat gmt. You can't go wrong with either. You just need to make the call yourself.
