Hi'y'all

'bin lusting after a SOHC for a while. When I first started looking, the deal from US AD looked a stonker, but now - WOW!! - what a difference a few weeks has made! ( Not looking too hot for UK interest in the Breitlingsource LE methinks). :?

Sterling has tanked ( and looking to get much worse). :cry: . As a result, i've finally pushed the button and a classic, black/mesh SOHC has my name on it via a reputable and kosher internet source.

I tell you, I am sooooo excited! A few might remember my original "ling" buy about a million years ago of a brand new (now vintage - LOL!) 815. I'm not a great fan of contemporary 'ling bling. However, the SOHC just oooozes CLASS!, and is one of very few 'lings over the years that I just LOVE!.

Oh, I can't wait for the postman now!.. Wish me luck! I'll post some piccies of the two beauts side by side soon!. The Daddy, posing with a Grand-Daddy! 8)

Two to three weeks, maybe only 10 days. Damn! - I feel like a dog with two d**ks! :lol: ...and my lovely wife is happy for me too! - what more can a bloke ask for!

Congratulations, and hope the wait isn't too long.

And don't be too concerned about the LE now that the US$ has strengthened, Canada hasn't been annexed by the US just yet (though we do have rather large oil reserves so invasion is likely in our future :wink: ), and I've been dealing with Canada and Switzerland directly.

I'm happy for you, too, Ike, although I'm not too clear about
your reference about the dog with two d**ks. If it means what I think
it means, them I'm as happy as a dog with three d**ks, soon
to be four, I hope. Anyway, hope you get your watch soon. Enjoy. :)
